Marquetry box: hummingbird and fuchsia
Veneers in emerald greens, blues and purples combine to create a highly detailed beautiful tropical hummingbird on a grey ripple sycamore background.
The solid wood box interior is lined with royal blue calf suede. Over 50 coats of french polish applied in the traditional manner give the exterior of the box a glass-like high gloss appearance.
