January 2010: Dome Interior in Marquetry
Fully completed in December 2009, this large scale marquetry work accurately depicts the indigenous flora, fauna, butterflies and birds of Arizona on the interior of an elliptical domed ceiling above an entrance hall. 24 large marquetry panels are individually curved to the shape of the 7 metre wide dome.
The marquetry covers an area of approx 35 sq m.
