Our starting point for every commission is to establish and fully understand each client's requirements.
We may develop an idea or theme at an early formative stage, or progress a finished design to one that will translate into the medium of marquetry.
Initial designs are developed and presented to the client with swatches of veneers and, if required, large scale CAD line drawings and finished samples. Any changes are identified and incorporated into final designs.
Once approved, one of our expert marqueteurs begins the highly specialised art of selecting and matching veneers before cutting, shading and assembling the finished piece of work.
The finished marquetry may be used to create a completed piece of furniture, pressed as a wall panel or simply supplied as an overlay for a cabinet maker to mount onto any given surface.
